Fillings are optional. They would be between each cake layer along with your buttercream of choice

If this flavor is not desired for the exterior of the cake due to a specific desired color for design, please let me know in the additional comments section at the bottom of this form.

American buttercream is the traditional frosting you'll find on cakes. It's thick and sweet. Swiss meringue buttercream is a nice alternative if frosting isn't the favorite part of the cake. It's lighter in texture, lighter in sweetness, and resembles a sweetened whipped cream.
